Free simulation Software for Students of Schools and Universities
PhET simulation Software for Students of Schools and Universities designed by the University of Colorado, provides fun, interactive, research-based simulations of physical phenomena for free. This simulation software enables students to make connections between real-life phenomena and the underlying science, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the physical world.
To help students visually comprehend concepts, PhET simulations animate what is invisible to the eye through the use of graphics and intuitive controls such as click-and-drag manipulation, sliders and radio buttons. In order to further encourage quantitative exploration, the simulations also offer measurement instruments including rulers, stop-watches, voltmeters and thermometers. As the user manipulates these interactive tools, responses are immediately animated thus effectively illustrating cause-and-effect relationships as well as multiple linked representations (motion of the objects, graphs, number readouts, etc.)
All PhET simulations are freely available from the PhET website and are easy to use and incorporate into the classroom. They are written in Java and Flash, and can be run using a standard web browser as long as Flash and Java are installed.
Now days most of our schools and universities have Computer facilities, it is very useful to students if teachers and Lectures teach trough this simulation software. These simulations covering diverse topics such as physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and math etc. below is the list of currently available simulations

Download and Installation Methods
Method - I
1. Visit PhET Official Site2. Go to Download Page (Few simulations may not work due to the current installer Problem (it may be fixed in future. I use method - II to because of this Problem)
3. Choose Download link according to your Operating System (Windows / Mac OS / Linux)
Method - II for Advanced Users
1. Click Here to download a text file (Click Save As if it open in browser window) which contain list for downloader2. Load that Text file in your Downloader (I used Free download Manager as shown in the picture for example.)
3. Click Here to Download Java. (Choose suitable version for your OS)
4. Click Here to Download Flash version 12
5. Download Thumbnails of All Simulations (This is useful to easily identify the simulations using filenames)
